Welcome Eduardo, 3D Artist
Today we welcome Eduardo to our growing collection of 3D artists. Eduardo will be working on light cycle designs for a project we recently started.
More details of the game will be released shortly, but for those who're interested it's in the style of the classic Tron light cycle games and will be released on XBLIG and WP7.

Welcome Johannes, 3D Artist
Today we welcome Johannes, another 3D artist to the team working on Shadow Racers.
Johannes heard about us from his friend Rico, who has been producing cars for Shadow Racers. He has been tasked with the creation of a few of the remaining cars for the game, starting with a car based on the VW Golf.

A new car for Shadow Racers

Today I've finished up some shader changes and have completed a major overhaul of the shadowing and lighting system in our engine. On top of all that I have received the second car from our 3D artist Rico. This one is based on the Dodge Charger and came out very nice.
Rico has already produced another car based on a Dodge Ram which I'll be posting up over the weekend.

Shadow Racers box art

Our designer Neil has been busy creating box art and logos for all of our games lately and he completed the box art for Shadow Racers a good month or two ago.
We decided not to post it up yet as we still had a lot of development to do on the game but now we're nearing our beta testing stage so we thought it'd be a good time to show off Neil's awesome art work.
The box art is perfect for the game and Neil and I spoke many times for a few weeks as we went from the initial sketches to this final version.

Announcing new Track Builder game

Here are the first two screenhots from a little game we've been working on for the past few weeks. The premise of the game is very simple, build your own race track, set your personal bests and share your tracks and times with friends on Xbox Live! After
Crash and Burn and
Shadow Racers, this is the third racing game we currently have in production.
The idea for the game is one we've been thinking about for a long time but only recently while optimizing our racing engine did we decide to start putting together some stuff for the game. The
TrackMania series of games are an obvious insipration to us and we also think this type of game will do well on Xbox Live Indie Games, where the users can take control of rhe game's content and share it between themselves.
The two screenshots above show an early build of the game, we have been working on the editor side of the game so far and the track in the screenshots was entirely built in-game. We've modelled a number of generic track pieces which can be rotated, flipped and all slot together to make complex multi-level tracks.
We hope to be getting the game into playtest soon and our team are still hard at work finishing the levels and vehicle models for our other racing games in the mean-time.

More Shadow Racers updates

We've been making a lot of progress with Shadow Racers this week on all fronts.
Sam Lincoln is looking better than ever in the preview to the right and our 2D artist Peter is hard at work creating the other characters that will feature in the game.
We've grown our team with a few new 3D artists and we're back on track with the creation of the remaining vehicles for the game.
The engine is coming along nicely too, having been in development for well over a year (over a number of iterations) we are really happy with it's performance and power and hope to soon be showing off some in-game shots from the game.

New sports car for Shadow Racers

Ognen, one of our new 3D artists is well on the way with his first vehicle model which you can see here.
This will be one of the fastest and most expensive vehicles in the game and is loosely modelled on the Ferrari F430. The model you can see here has yet to be properly textured but I thought the normal mapping alone makes this car look gorgeous. We're looking forward to showing off the completed model.

Welcome Rico, 3D artist
We already welcomed one 3D artist to the team today, and now we welcome Rico to the team working on Shadow Racers and Crash and Burn.
Rico will also be working on the completion of the vehicle models for these two games and we hope that together with the rest of the 3D team we will be able to complete these models in the next few months.

Today we welcome Ognen to the team working on our two racing game projects Shadow Racers and Crash and Burn.
Ognen will be working on some of the vehicle models for the two games along with our existing 3D team.

New car for Shadow Racers

Today we receiveed another car for Shadow Racers. Tianyu has now completed his work on the helicopter models for Critical Strike and wanted to have a go at a car based on the BMW M5 for Shadow Racers.
The car needs a little work on the wheels but other than that it's looking nice. This will most likely be the last model from Tianyu as he's spending more time working on his college work.
