Retroburn is an independent game developer based in Wakefield, England, and was founded by Martin Caine.
Retroburn was founded in 2008 by Martin Caine as he was learning to develop games for PC and Xbox 360 platforms using the XNA framework. Alongside his full time job in web development and online marketing, Martin developed numerous small games and prototypes but they were never released to the public.Joining 'The Industry'
Martin started developing games professionally in 2012 when he started working for TickTock Games (an independent developer also based in Wakefield). Since that time all Retroburn projects have been on hold except one, Positron. Continuing to work in his spare time and through his day job, Martin now has experience developing games for a whole range of platforms including current gen consoles, mobile devices, and PC (Steam).First release
Positron is set for release on Steam on March 17th (2016) with mobile releases and console releases coming later in 2016.
